Dr. Kalejaiye Adeboye Paul was born into the family of Chief James Ijaola Kalejaiye and Mrs Victoria Kalejaiye of Ode Remo, Ogun State and Koko in Delta State, both of blessed memory.

KAP had his early education in Army Children School Mokola Ibadan, and Secondary education at Nazareth High School Imeko in Ogun State.

He was at St. Leo’s Teachers Training College, and the then Lagos State College of Education for his teacher’s education. He was one of the pioneer students of Lagos State University where he bagged Bachelors of Arts and Education, and two Masters Degree in Public Administration and Business Administration. He is a certified Film Director and Cinematographer from the Nigerian Film Institute Jos.

Dr. Kalejaiye Adeboye Paul had his Post Graduate Diploma course in Journalism from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Lagos in 2021. He recently bagged his Doctoral Degree in Public Administration at the Lagos State University in 2024. He has added another book to his publication in 2021, when he published his autobiography titled: ‘Undetered: The pendulum swings on.’

He was until January 2011 a full time lecturer at the Lagos State Polythecnic at the School of Business and Management Studies, before he was appointed to serve in the Lagos State Cabinet, and he was subsequently granted Leave of Absence by the Polythecnic.

His political experience span over 35 years. He was a pioneer Secretary of the defunct National Republican Convention {NRC} for the then Ojo Local Government, which presently comprises of Ojo, Otto Awori, Amuwo-Odofin, Oriade, Ajeromi-Ifelodun and Ifelodun LCDA.

He has also served as Chairman Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government All People;s Party {APP}. He is the chief consultant to Resource Consult Limited, a firm whose activities cover areas such as Management Consultancy, Local Government Administration amongst others. He has to his credit 35 researched works, some of which are published in local journals.

He has authored several books including but not limited to ‘Touch of Excellence’ {A book on local government administration} ‘Who is who in Private Education in Lagos State’, and edited the student teaching profile for College of Education Students.

He was the Cordinator of Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education {Apapa Campus}. He is also an entrepreneur with over 150 members of staff working in his various organisations. He has investment in various industries such as hospitality, education, automobile, foods and beverages.

Amongst his appointments include: Member Lagos State Scholarship Board. Member Lagos State University Governing Council, Member Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education Governing Council, Personal Assistant to Special Adviser, Office of Local Government Administration and Chieftaincy Affairs, Lagos State, Special Assistant to Special Adviser on Education, Lagos State, Senior Special Assistant to Senator Tokunboh Afikuyomi,  Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on Rural Development under Babatunde Raji Fashola {SAN}, Chairman/CEO Lagos State Ferry Services under Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.

He was also appointed by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu as member of the Lagos State University Visitation Panel.

DR KALEJAIYE ADEBOYE PAUL AS FEDERAL LAWMAKER RERESENTING AJEROMI-IFELODUN FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY 2023 TILL DATE

Ever since election victory as the Federal lawmaker representing Ajeromi-Ifelodun Federal Constituency, Dr Kalejaiye Adeboye Paul has provided succor to electorate in his Federal constituency. These include the following:

• Distribution of food items palliatives to over 7,000 residents of his federal constituency in 2023
• Distribution of food palliative to over 5000 residents of his constituency at the mega empowerment in December 2024.
• Distribution of trade tools to artisans in his constituency.
• Annual medical outreach for residents in communities across the constituency.
• Training program on different vocational skills for youths.
• Annual food palliative for residents during festive period.
• Annual religious program tagged the Merciful God Concert
• Facilitated the formal handover of ongoing Youth Centre at Cemetery market of Aiyetoro community Ajeromi- Ifelodun local government
• Facilitation of federal road projects into Ajeromi-Ifelodun Federal constituency {ongoing}.

Dr Kalejaiye Adeboye Paul is happily married with children.
